Chief Secretary Javed Aslam presided over a meeting on Friday to review the flood relief arrangements in the province.
He instructed the Health Department to ensure medical facilities in flood-affected areas.
He said district administrations and the Health Department should ensure coordinated efforts to provide basic health facilities to the affected people through mobile teams. Aslam directed divisional commissioners and district administrations to provide clean drinking water to the people.
He told the commissioners and regional police officers to maintain law and order in the flood affected areas.
He warned that laxity or negligence would not be tolerated in relief and rehabilitation activities.
