Although the area had some primary schools, none of them imparted quality education. That is when MH Sufi Foundation, a non-profit organization established in 1994 to promote and provide quality education in rural areas of Pakistan, built a school with support from Association for Development of Pakistan (ADP).
The documentary Learning Has No Limits in Hafizabad explores how the school, which was just a single-storey small building with few rooms, expanded into a double-storey structure with more classes to incorporate seven grades with three sections each.
“Right now an estimate of the total enrollment is 1,200,” said Chairman MH Sufi Foundation Parvez Sufi.
The video also shows students, parents, staff and the school caretaker describing the benefits the school has brought to the community and how the children respond to their new school both in terms of learning and play.
