Monetary Dispute: Man shot dead

The police have registered a murder case against the accused and handed over the body to his family after autopsy.

CHAKWAL: A man was shot dead allegedly by a group of armed persons in Choa Saidan Shah, Chakwal on Tuesday over a monetary dispute.

Shujaat Ali lodged a report with the local police that Tayyab Hussain and Muhammad Adnan along with seven accomplices intercepted him and his brother when they were on their way to attend a meeting and opened fire at them.

As result, his brother, Azhar Ali, suffered bullet injuries and died on the way to hospital.

The police have registered a murder case against the accused and handed over the body to his family after autopsy.

Further investigation was underway till the filing of this story.
