Anti-dengue day: Rallies, walks held across Attock district

Pamphlets and leaflets were also distributed among the citizens.

ATTOCK: Like other parts of the province, an anti-dengue day was observed across the Attock district on Sunday. The day was organised by the health department and the tehsil municipal administration. Different rallies and walks were held across the district. A walk led by Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO) Aftab Ahmad and other health officials was held in the main city. The participants of the rally were holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans regarding dengue fever and safety and preventive measures. The TMO while addressing the participants of the rally said that the local administration has taken all possible measures to contain its spread. Later, anti-dengue fumigation was also carried out in different areas of the city. Pamphlets and leaflets were also distributed among the citizens.
