Entrance tests: ‘Security should be foolproof’

Entry tests for medical and dental colleges in the Punjab will be held on Sunday, September 22 at 8am.

BAHAWALPUR: “Entry tests for medical and dental colleges in the Punjab will be held on Sunday, September 22 at 8am...examination centres have been set up at Islamia University’s old campus,” Additional District Collector Amjad Basheer said on Sunday. The ADC told a meeting a shuttle service had been arranged to take students to the exam centres. He directed the officials concerned to provide drinking water and other facilities for the students and their parents. Basheer said foolproof security arrangements should be made. He said ambulances should also be available to deal with an emergency situation. The ADC was told that mobile phone jammers had been installed at the examination centres. There would be no electricity outage during the exams. Backup generators had been arranged to provided to ensure this.
