Scuffle Claims Life: Three soldiers arrested for murder

The culprits were arrested and locked up in the Saddar Bairooni police station.

RAWALPINDI: Three serving troops of Pakistan Army shot dead a man and injured a passerby in Quaid-e-Azam Colony during a brawl over barring their friend, Hawaldar Asharf, residing there from attending a call in the street.

The culprits were arrested and locked up in the Saddar Bairooni police station. The deceased was identified as Raja Hamid Nawaz whereas injured as Nauman.

SP Saddar Circle Waheedur Rehman Khattak, while talking to media, said that according to reports Adeel had stopped Hawaldar Ashraf from talking on phone in the street.

After an exchange of harsh words Adeel and Ashraf called their friends and a scuffle ensued during which, the troopers started shooting.
