KARACHI: RapidCompute, one of Pakistan’s premium cloud service providers and a division of Cybernet has added another feather to its cap by registering with Cloud Security Alliance’s Security, Trust and Assurance Registry (CSA STAR).

Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to “promote the use of best practices for providing security assurance within cloud computing.” The CSA gained significant reputability in 2011 when the White House selected the CSA Summit as the venue for announcing the federal government’s cloud computing strategy.

The CSA STAR provides details about information security management systems and uses 13 domains to address cloud computing security.

With this achievement, RapidCompute has become the first and only CSA STAR registered cloud service provider in Pakistan. CSA STAR provides detailed information about RapidCompute’s information security management system and addresses all the information security concerns of cloud customers.
