Crime: Bus passengers looted

ISLAMABAD: On the eve of Eid, passengers of a bus were looted of cash and other valuables by armed men at Motorway Chowk.

By the time the police reached the spot, robbers had fled the scene, after depriving the passengers of cash and other valuables.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Maqbool Hussain said that a case against Khayal Gul, the leader of the gang, and his accomplices had been lodged.

The passengers protested over the incident and demanded an arrest of the robbers. They also shouted slogans against the police.
