The Rata Amral police arrested nine suspected gamblers during a raid at a gambling den.
On a tip-off, the police raided a gambling den and arrested Tufail, Hamas, Yasir, Tanveer, Akhtar, Amanat, Daud, Shafiq and Aurangzaib. The police also seized Rs15,000 worth of stake money and six cell phones from the alleged gamblers. The police lodged a case against them and further investigation is underway.
