Crime: Woman deprived of gold bangles

Rukhsana lodged a report with police she was on her way home after Eid shopping when armed motorcyclist waylaid her.

ISLAMABAD: On the eve of Eid, armed motorcyclists deprived a woman of gold bangles and cash at gunpoint in the jurisdiction of Industrial Area Police Station.

Rukhsana lodged a report with the police that she was on her way home after Eid shopping when armed motorcyclist waylaid her outside her home and deprived her of cash and two gold bangles worth Rs100,000.

She told the police that she wrestled with the armed persons, but at the end, she gave up resisting them, when one of the armed men aimed his pistol at her.
