MULTAN: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) is facing a shortage of physics and chemistry examiners to evaluate the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examination papers, BISE Chairman Chaudhry Rasheed Ahmed said on Wednesday.

Talking to APP, Ahmed said that there was a shortage of examiners because most teachers were busy teaching at tuition centres.

“Principals of public colleges should cooperate with the board…teachers are losing interest in assessing the papers,” he said. Ahmed said the HSSC result would most likely be announced by September 25. He said the date would be announced after Eidul Fitr.
