Released online this week, the teaser of Moor (which means mother in Pashto) heavily relies on visuals accompanied by a soothing score, which is a pleasant change from standard Pakistani practices, as your anticipation of the film builds up, without the story being unveiled.
The trailer comprises scenic shots of the beautiful snow-clad terrain of Muslim Baagh, an area in the vicinity of Qila Saifullah district in Balochistan. One of the most elaborate shots even shows the once existing Zhob Valley Railway (ZVR) in operation with a train easing into the frame as we slowly fade in and out to the highlands.
ZVR has been out of service for quite some time now and like many other railway lines laid during the British era, this one is being removed by the locals and sold as scrap.
This decline of the railways system will play a major part in the film’s story, which sources tell us is about a child’s journey from the outskirts of Quetta to Karachi.
Presented by Azaad films and Mandviwalla Entertainment, the film, which was previously titled Morqaye, will be released at the end of 2013 or early 2014.

Whatever you guys do, please make sure that we have atleast 2 to 3 quality films a year (doesn't matter who makes them) for atleast next 10 years. Let those who are making B-films carry on their routines. . These quality films should be properly released at least in Pakistan with due publicity. We cannot wait and have 6 years gap (khuda ke liye and Bol). If the film is not marketed, even Pakistanis don't know it. Last 20 years wehave lost audience for Pakistani films. Please target Pakistani schools and encourage them to send kids to watch films (even if you have to give massive discounts or even free screening). We need this kids to be our customers in 10 years down the line. We cannot lose another generation completely to foreign films. Talk to Mr Mandviwallah to help you guys make one film a year for kids. Catch them, involve them at young age! . If you cannot release films internationally, please talk to Netflix or Lovefilm websites for internet streaming. We, the overseas Pakistanis, would be happy to pay and watch quality streaming online. This will give people accesss all over the world to watch our films. With time, we will have enough audience to make it commercially viable to release them in many countries. We need to develop audience. . We need a regular publicity and supply of films to feel some national pride. It is difficult to take pride in our film industry at the moment when we cannot recommend any film to our South Asian friends when they are telling us about Bollywood all the time!
Thx guys I owe this film to lot of ppl but mainly to Baloch ppl. Who loved us and they know how to give everything to Pakistan but getting nothing return but blood tears and sad levesl of anarchy.
