Construction approval: LDA razes several illegal buildings

LAHORE: The Town Planning Wing of the Lahore Development Authority demolished a number of illegal structures along Ferozepur Road on Monday. LDA staff demolished an under-construction plaza in front of the Central Park Housing Scheme and tore down walls built for two illegal housing schemes near Grand Avenue. Six shops built illegally opposite Venus Housing Scheme and at Stop No 28 were also razed. Earlier, in an operation in Township, LDA staff demolished a shutter structure for the construction of a basement in Plot No 39, Peco Road; two illegal shops next to the Attock CNG station on Peco Road; three shops on Plot No 186, E2 Block in Johar Town; and six under-construction properties in Sabzazar Scheme.
