Salary issues: Principal not paid for 19 months

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Monday sought a reply from the government in connection with a petition filed by the principal of Government College, Kala Bagh, Mianwali, seeking the recovery of his salary that he claims has not been paid for 19 months. The court directed the government to reply in 15 days. The petitioner said that he had requested the authorities to release his salary, but they had not. The principal said that there was no justification for withholding his salary and requested the court to direct the department concerned to pay him.
