In the aftermath of the deadly attack on Dera Ismail Khan prison, the Sindh Police conducted a safety exercise at the Central Jail Karachi to prepare for any possible terrorist attacks.
According to police sources, strict security measures have been taken by the Sindh police at the Karachi Central Jail and the exercise, which was conducted on Saturday night, was a part of these measures.
Special commandos and snipers accompanied the high ranking police officials in the exercise. The commandos took positions inside the premises while the snipers were deployed on the jail’s rooftops and its nearby buildings.
