Security forces, along with the police, have set up check posts at seven entry and exit points in Dera Ismail Khan. These measures were taken to ramp up security after the July 29 jailbreak, in which 250 prisoners, including 49 militants, were freed.
The seven check posts were set up under the provincial government’s instructions in order to tighten the law and order situation in Dera Ismail Khan, a statement issued by the district police officer said.
According to the statement, Pakistan Army and police personnel will be deployed on these check posts where passengers and even common citizens will undergo security check. These check posts have been set up between Dera Ismail Khan and Frontier Region Dera Ismail Khan, on the roads leading to Rawalpindi, South Waziristan, Bannu and Multan, on the by-pass road to Dera Ismail Khan City, and another near Mufti Mehmood Hospital, on the road leading to Punjab.

On second thought, is the main purpose building a fortified defense for Punjab?
After the 249 out of 400 gone now why to spend tax payers money for so many check posts as the remain 150 dont wanted to leave that is why they are inside. i always think why these guys beefed up security after the blast or a killing.
Isn't it a little too late?
