Academic appointments : Governor appoints deans in SU

Sindh Governor, the chancellor of public sector universities has appointed the deans for three years.

HYDERABAD: Sindh Governor, who is also the chancellor of public sector universities of the province, has appointed Prof. Dr Javed Iqbal as the dean of arts and Prof. Dr Abdul Rasool Abbasi as the dean of natural science for a period of three years at Sindh University (SU). The spokesperson stated on Wednesday that Iqbal was earlier serving as professor of Urdu language, while Abbasi was responsible for the fresh water biology and fisheries.
