KARACHI:

Rife with nepotism and favouritism, the Sindh Public Service Commission has seen its credibility questioned in the court a couple of times.

The final merit list of the Combined Competitive Exams 2003 was challenged in court and despite findings of different committees that several candidates were unduly favoured, no action has been taken despite the lapse of over 10 years. CCE 2008 was no different as it too was challenged in the court.

Candidates allege that malpractice and nepotism was at its peak during the democratic set-up and it is a challenge for the Pakistan Peoples Party-led government to arrange a fair and transparent exam.
