Youm-E-Ali Procession: No entry without stickers

The sticker is mandatory for all vehicles joining the procession.

KARACHI: The city traffic police has said that those wishing to participate in the Youm-e-Ali procession on July 31 should obtain permission for their vehicles in the form of a pass or sticker from the office of the DIG Traffic Police security branch at the Garden Headquarters.

The sticker is mandatory for all vehicles joining the procession.

Government departments may apply for the stickers on official letter while for media and ambulances, letters from their respective organisations would be required along with attested copies of the driving licence, CNIC and two photographs of the driver.

The Scouts organisations, welfare bodies, sabeels and alms, applications for stickers should be submitted at Scouts Rabita Council Head office situated at Numaish by July 28.

The stickers should be pasted on the wind screen of the vehicle without which it would not be allowed to enter the procession, the traffic police authorities said.
