Violence roundup: Four killed in separate acts of targeted killings

Incidents occurred in the areas of Baldia Town, Old Sabzi Mandi Dhobi Ghat and at Mirza Adam Khan Road.

At least four people were killed in separate acts of violence in the city on Saturday.


An alleged gang member, Imran, 30, was killed in Baldia Town. Police said that two armed men shot the victim multiple times at his house, killing him on the spot.

Tahir, 28, was shot dead near his home situated near Old Sabzi Mandi. Police said that the deceased used to run a paan shop in Malir.

Separately, a young man was shot dead near Dhobi Ghat. Police officials said that unidentified persons shot him multiple times and escaped after committing the crime.

Meanwhile, the body of a young man, who has yet to be identified, was found from Mirza Adam Khan Road. Police officials said that unidentified persons kidnapped the victim and later shot him in the head. His body was moved to Edhi morgue for identification.
