ISLAMABAD:

Eleven faculty members of National University of Modern Languages (NUML) will soon be leaving for the University of North Texas (UNT) in US to attend a 40-day long UNT-NUML Research Fellowship Programme.

NUML Rector Maj Gen (retd) Masood Hasan during a ceremony handed over tickets and insurance cards to the four male and seven female faculty members of the university’s English Studies Department. NUML Registrar Brig (retd) Saeed Akhtar Malik said the group was at an advanced stage of their MPhil and PhD programmes and would be completing their dissertations under the direction of an American supervisor at UNT.

Under the programme, in-house faculty development training sessions by UNT faculty and acquisition of a database for the NUML library have also been completed.
