Nust Visit: Minister for promoting quality education

Minister lauded the efforts of management, faculty and scholars towards developing in Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD: Stressing the need for promoting quality education, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that the government was committed to the advancement of science and technology in the country. During a visit to the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) on Monday, he lauded the efforts of NUST management, faculty and scholars towards developing it as a centre of excellence in Pakistan. He hoped that other institutions of higher education will follow the precedent set by the NUST. Rector NUST Engr Muhammad Asghar and other officials briefed the minister about the current engagements and future plans of the institute.
