Swift action: Contraband seized, suspects arreste

The Malakan levies recovered one kilogramme of heroin from Saeeda’s possession and lodged a case against her.

DARGAI: The Malakand levies seized a large cache of drugs, fake degrees and stamps in different incidents on Saturday. Levies official subidar Ghafoor Khan said he set up a checkpoint along with investigation officer Noorzada and subidar Gul Roz on the directives of Malakand levies Commandant Amjid Ali Khan to curb smuggling. While searching a passenger van, they recovered one kilogramme of heroin from Saeeda’s possession and lodged a case against her. In another crackdown, a levies team conducted a raid on Ahsanullah’s house, recovered 225 grammes of heroine from his possession and put him behind bars. During a raid in Dargai bazaar, levies personnel recovered fake degrees, stamps and arrested the accused, Rasheed.
