LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek Punjab President Basharat Jispal on Friday led a delegation that called on Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhary at his office to discuss local government elections and other political issues. Chaudhary told the delegation that local government elections should be held on party basis.  He said mayors, nazims and chairmans should be voted directly. He said village councils should have administrative and financial autonomy.  Chaudhary said the PTI would participate in local elections and it had constituted a committee to prepare for the polls.
