Un delegation: AIG to ensure foreigners’ security

KARACHI: The two-member UN delegation comprising Rudy Juanito and Alexander Hasenstab met Additional Inspector General Police Ghulam Qadir Thebu at his office and discussed security and other matters of mutual interest. Thebu told the UN delegation that the police have formed a strategy to adopt all-out steps to implement comprehensive security arrangements for foreigners. Extraordinary security was being ensured to foreign engineers, other staff working on projects, consulate generals and foreigners’ residents at police zone and district levels, he said. The UN delegation expressed satisfaction over security steps and ensured all out cooperation from them.
