‘Honour’ killing: Man guns down wife

SUKKUR: A woman was gunned down by her husband on the pretext of karo-kari in Mehar Shah village within B-section police limits in Kandhkot on Thursday. Laiq Sabzoi suspected his wife K* was having an affair with someone in the neighbourhood. Early Thursday morning while K* was preparing Sehri, a heated argument occurred between the two and hair husband took out a pistol and killed her on the spot and fled. The police shifted the body to Kandhkot hospital for autopsy and then handed it over to the family. They have yet to register the case.
