The government is expected to issue a notification in a few days to raise salaries and pensions as announced in Budget 2013-14.

According to a summary sent by the Finance Department on Wednesday, the adhoc relief allowance at 10 per cent of basic pay will be paid to all government employees from July 1.

The raise would be subject to income tax. It would also be admissible during leaves.
