ACCA trainees: FFC gets approved employer status

KARACHI: Having partnerships with over 8,500 employers across the world, ACCA seeks to formally recognise and reward leading organisations that offer continuous learning and development support to ACCA trainees. Following this lead, ACCA Pakistan recently awarded Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC), a leading fertiliser manufacturer, with platinum approved employer status. According to a press release, this is the highest status that ACCA awards to organisations that are committed to providing learning and development opportunities to its finance staff. ACCA says its approved employer programme will assist FFC in aligning workforce training and professional development, ensuring that ACCA trainees and members continue to acquire the learning needed to do their jobs while upholding ethical standards. The certificate was presented to FFC CFO Syed Shahid Hussain by ACCA Pakistan head Arif Masud Mirza.
