Squash: Bokhari, Aslam given byes in world championship

Pakistan duo of Ali Bokhari and Tayyab Aslam received first-round byes in the World Junior Individual Squash Championship underway in Wroclaw, Poland.


Bokhari has been seeded joint-third with Jordan’s Ahmed Alsaraj, while Tayyab is seeded joint-ninth. Egyptian duo of Fares Dessouki and Karim El Hammamy are seeded first and second respectively for the championship. In the second round, Bokhari will be facing the winner of the match between Poland’s Adrian Marszal and Germany’s Niklas Becher.

Tayyab will be up against the winner of the match between Spain’s Pascal Gomez and Ukraine’s Vitaliy Yevdochenko.
