This or that?: Zaara Peerzada or Faatima Khan

Model Zara Peerzada and Faatima Khan, wife of TV show-host Ahmed Ali Butt, arrived at the red carpet of the 12th Lux Style Awards, dressed in black and white. Here is a breakdown of what they wore and who we picked as our favourite:

Hair & Make-up

We loved Zara’s make-up at the event. The Gatsby girl look is totally meant for those chiseled and defined features. There is nothing that she missed out — red hot lips, Marcel waves and those well-defined eyes are all winners.

Clothes

Kamiar Rokni’s monochrome separates look fab on Zara’s petite frame. She’s rocking that strapless top and fitted pants — we’re in love!

Accressories & Shoes

Except for the dangly silver earrings and a gold anklet, the model was not seen sporting any other accessory. And it’s good for us, we are happy that a cluster of accessories is not taking attention away from her beautiful face. We love those black velvet peep-toes. She’s definitely one of our red carpet favourites.

Faatima Khan



Hair & Make-up

Being a celebrity wife, we would like to advise Faatima to start following the trends right, as she will frequently be in the media’s eye alongside her husband. Up-dos are all the rage this summer, but this side-parted bun looks very unexciting and that loose strand of hair adds to the somberness. We do like her smokey eyes, but that bland shade of lipstick makes us think before we give her any brownie points.

Clothes

While that Armani gown might be hot, it just looks unbecoming on Faatima. We wish she had opted for another dress which complemented her frame better. This one just scores low on our style-o-meter.

Accressories & Shoes

Although, stunners on their own, we are so sad to say that the Alexander McQueen clutch and those Chanel pearls failed to up Faatima’s overall look.
