KARACHI:

People fasting in the month of Ramazan have been facing problems due to low gas pressure and braving prolonged electricity load-shedding at Sehr and Iftar timings.

Citizens of Dhabeji requested the federal government to take notice of their sufferings.

Meanwhile, Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh Information Secretary Mujahid Channa said that the government promised that there will be no load-shedding at Sehr and Iftar time, however, many areas including, Jacobabad, Sanghar and Karachi are witnessing prolonged power outages. He asked the government to take action against those behind the load-shedding and ensure smooth power supply during Ramazan.

Its interesting that Islamabadians have street lights and lights in parks for security reasons but no electricity for the homes and offices. Will sanity ever prevail and these government servants ever wake up to comman mans problems?
