New management: TCP announces new chairman

Rizwan Ahmed has taken charge as a chairman of the Trading Corporation of Pakistan.

KARACHI: Rizwan Ahmed, a BS-21 Officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), has taken over the charge as the chairman of the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP), Karachi from Wednesday July 10, 2013. Ahmed joined the civil service in 1988 and has served on various important positions in both the federal and the provincial governments. The positions where he served included Managing Director (MD) of Pakistan Security Printing Corporation Karachi, MD ENAR, Secretary to Governor Sindh SGA&CD Health, MD SPPRA, Additional Secretary Finance and Home Departments, Government of Sindh, Executive Director of Pakistan Steel Mills, Deputy Commissioner District Hyderabad, Additional Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner of Government of Punjab. He has also worked as Directing Staff in National Institute of Management in Karachi. Rizwan brings with him more than 25 years of professional experience in law enforcement, administration, finance, management, human resource and public procurement.
