Addict: Son kills mother over money

MULTAN: A drug addict was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of murdering his mother. Police were told that Rasheeda Bibi, 60, had an argument with her son Muhammad Younas over some money. Younas left the house but returned with an axe and attacked and killed her. His sister Shamim Bibi, 32, called for help. Neighbours tried to detain Younas but he escaped. The police caught up with Younas at a bus stand while he was trying to leave the city. Shamim Bibi told the police that her brother was a drug addict. The police shifted the body to Nishtar Hospital for autopsy. Police said Younas had confessed to the crime.
