Juvenile: Nine-year-old pickpocket released

Police said Qaiser would distract people, while Arsalan would steal their wallets and purses.

GUJRANWALA: A nine-year-old pick-pocket was released by a court on Wednesday. His 15-year-old accomplice was handed over to the police. Sabzi Mandi police said they had arrested Qaiser and Arsalan from near a banquet hall earlier in the day. They were presented before Magistrate Muhammad Jameel Bhatti, who directed the police to release Qaiser for he was so young. Arsalan was sent to a jail for the juvenile. Police said Qaiser would distract people, while Arsalan would steal their wallets and purses. Both belong to Khokar Town in Lahore.
