Targeting Hazara: Protest against hate literature

QUETTA: Hazara Democratic Party’s (HDP) women’s wing staged a demonstration at the Quetta Press Club on Tuesday to demand a ban on all controversial literature that spreads sectarianism.

Protesters chanted slogans against the killing of innocent Hazaras and demanded a targeted operation against those responsible for such attacks.

Addressing the protesters, Reehana Hazara said, “We consider it genocide.

We don’t understand how the suicide bomber could achieve his target in a tight security area,” Reehana said.

However, she welcomed the solidarity of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch with the Hazara community.

This Quetta Press Club Building is better than all Hazaras! At least no one touches it!
