ATTOCK:
A man drowned in the Indus River on Friday after he was bathing there with his friends. The body was recovered by his friends and family members after searching for five hours.
According to details, Zamurad Khan was a resident of village Basal, near Ziarat. “One moment we were taking a bath and the next he was gone,” said Khan’s friend.
Locals demanded that the Punjab government ban bathing in Indus River for three months.
