Wadh Violence: CM sends delegation to tribal leaders

Delegation is vested with responsibility of holding talks with BNP-M and its political opponent Shafiq Mengal.

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch sent a delegation of tribal elders to Wadh to settle a dispute in the region. 

Spokesman Jan Muhammad Buledi confirmed that the delegation has been vested with the responsibility of holding talks with BNP-M chief Akhtar Mengal and his political opponent Shafiq Mengal.

A provincial government spokesman said the tribal elders would make efforts to ease the strained relationship between Sardar Akhtar Mengal and Mir Shafiqur Rehman and would play their role to restoration of peace and order in the area.

He further added that chief minister also ordered the local administration to control law and order in the region and has strictly warned them against any show of negligence.
