Almost there: Senator backs bus transit system

ISLAMABAD: The 50,000 commuters of twin cities were reassured by Senator Mushahid Hussain on Thursday when he assured of all-out efforts to launch a public transport system.

He was chairing a high-level briefing of a special committee to examine the possibility of launching a public transport system.

CDA’s Member Planning, Mustafain Kazmi informed the committee that ADB had almost completed the pre-feasibility report of the Bus Rapid Transport System whereas the final report would be submitted by the bank in August.
