Distribution: Needy children get computers, bicycles

In company of the evergreen Uncle Sargam, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) distributed computers, bicycles, study tables and sewing machines among destitute and vulnerable children here on Thursday.


The gift distribution ceremony was held under “Rainbow Family Child Support Programme
(RFP)” for the children who have been adopted by the Muslim Aid- a UK-based NGO.

Famous cartoonist Farooq Qaiser was the chief guest, who also performed his one-hour “Uncle Sargam” show on the occasion.

Country Director Muslim Aid Khoabaib Vahedy, while talking about the RFP, said that the organisation was supporting more than 400  orphan,  needy and disabled children in many cities including Neelam, Bagh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Muree, Mansehra and Mianwali.
