Four robbers snatched away some of his valuables at gunpoint.
They took his wallet - which contained Rs92,000 cash - bank cards, passport, wrist watch and some documents.
Speaking at a press conference, Pakistani cricketer Asif said that he submitted a complaint at the S-Block Lahore police station at around noon today.
The incident took place at 4am on Wednesday, after which Asif contacted his lawyer.
Reporters at the press conference argued that no call from Lahore Defence had been made to the emergency number 15, to which Asif replied that he only reported the incident very early the next morning.
He also said that the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) called him and offered his support.
Asif also made it clear that the report was filed at the police station located in S Block Defence, and not in Mian Qadeer’s police station.
The former Pakistani cricketer said that the people responsible for the crime had also robbed several shops and were probably part of the “qabza group”.

How can this guy who is apparently just a national team player have a watch that expensive an that much cash. Who carries that sort of money? More significantly how did this guy manage to "afford" this?
