The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) budget would be unveiled by administrator Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi on Wednesday (today).
The budget has a total outlay of Rs35.5 billion with a surplus of Rs101.1 million.
A new project, ‘Viability Gap Funding’, has been launched under which the roads leading from Hassan Square to Safoora Goth and from Airport to Gulshan-e-Hadeed would be reconstructed. The sources further claimed that a hefty amount of Rs10 billion has been allocated to the engineering head that includes new bridges, roads and cleanliness of drains.
