Poor performance: Three FESCO employees sacked
The Chak Jhumra XEN was given a warning.
FAISALABAD:
Three Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) employees- two linesmen and a security guard- were suspended on Tuesday over poor performance. Show cause notice was issued to the in charge of 132-KV Chak Jhumra grid station. The Chak Jhumra XEN was given a warning. Fesco spokesman Tahir Sheikh said the sackings were ordered during the Fesco chief’s surprise visit to Chak Jhumra subdivision 1, 2 and 132-KV grid station. It was found that linesman-II Muhammad Ali, assistant linesman Muhammad Ashraf were absent from duty without informed their line manger. The guard, Muhammad Akram, was also suspended on similar charges. SSO-I Shabbir Ahmad was issued show cause notice and XEN Abdul Rehman was warned of suspension if he did not improve his performance.
