ISLAMABAD:

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has finalised arrangements for an open commercial plot auction in various sectors of Islamabad on June 27-28.

The auction will be held at Jinnah Convention Centre where star attractions will be recently launched commercial plots at a proposed business hub in Sector I-12.

Developed sectors’ plots will be auctioned on June 27 and I-12 Markaz plots on June 28 from 10am to 4pm, according to a press release issued by the CDA.

The auction process will be supervised by a committee headed by CDA Finance Member Azhar Ali Chaudhry.

The I-12 Markaz plots, each of which covers an area of 1,096 square yards, are being presented at the auction for the first time.

All four provinces are represented in I-12 Markaz’s design theme, titled “Twin-City Saddar Market”, while the market’s fifth block, Kashmir Mall, symbolises Gilgit-Baltistan.

All blocks are interconnected so as to facilitate pedestrians. Commercial plots in Blue Area  will also be auctioned to raise money for the agency.
