Wasa: Fresh drive launched to recover Rs200m
MD Wasa has asked illegal connection holders to get their connections regularized by June 30

Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) on Thursday launched a fresh drive to recover Rs200 million from defaulters. Managing Director of WASA Akram Soban said that the campaign has been launched under the directives of the Punjab government. He said 20 inspectors have been deployed for recovery under the supervision of two assistant directors. Meanwhile, the MD has asked illegal connection holders to get their connections regularized by June 30, otherwise, strict action would be taken against them. WASA teams have started door-to-door checking to unearth such connections, he added.
