The man had set free his dog at the girl when he saw her picking onions from his field without his permission. The girl’s face was badly damaged and her nose cut.
She underwent a reconstructive surgery at a hospital on Wednesday. Doctors who treated her said she was recovering.
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had taken notice of the incident.
