Local celebs and socialites spotted at Napa last week at the red carpet opening of the play A Portrait of Rumi.

Local celebs and socialites were spotted at the National Academy of Performing Arts (Napa) last week at the red carpet opening of the play A Portrait of Rumi. While we loved most of the summer-fun looks, there were some guests that needed fashion guidance. Here’s a round-up of what we saw that evening:

Ayesha Omar



Actor-singer Ayesha was seen in light shades which are simply perfect for these hot summer nights. She flaunted her lacy, long-sleeve shrug with her linen pants and brown tank-top. With all the clothing she has on, it’s good that she didn’t accessorise.

Niche Rabbani



Guest Niche Rabbani looked stylish and chic in this no-fuss ensemble. She paired her dark skinnies with an electric blue top which we absolutely love. Her crimped hair complements her outfit perfectly along with those gold snake skin pumps.

Feeha Jamshed



We give Feeha full points for pulling off funky, Eastern accessories, and are amazed that she wore those leather pants in this sweltering heat.  Thumbs up for those shiny neon orange heels.

Nini 



TV host Nini must have been rushing to get to the play. It seems like she just finished grocery shopping and still has some errands to run. However, we can safely say she must have been very comfortable for the two-hour play.

Amina Rashid Khan



Socialite Amina looked cool and confident in her cotton harem pants with a casual brown tee. We love the bracelet and sandal coordination with her simple summer ensemble — it was a good way to bring out her look.

Nimra Bucha 



Actor Nimra seems to have a lot going on with her outfit.  While individually each piece seemed okay, we wish she had gone for different accessories. It also seems like she borrowed her husband’s cotton trousers.

Wajeeha Rehman 



Posing for the camera Wajeeha wore white skinnies with a printed black-and-white shirt. We love the colour contrast with her bright red scarf, matching her nail colour. Her outfit was perfect for the event as it was trendy and comfy.
