KARACHI: Panic gripped the upscale area of Boat Basin when a low-intensity 0.5 kg bomb exploded under a cement bench outside the Zulfiqarabad Development Authority (ZDA) office near Bilawal House on Saturday.
No casualty was reported. District south police chief SSP Nasir Aftab said anti-Zulfiqarabad elements might be behind the incident. The office was closed for weekend and it seems the blast was meant for harassment, he said.
