Killings Spree: Two BNP workers gunned down

QUETTA: Balochistan National Party-Mengal’s (BNP-M) two senior workers were shot dead in separate incidents of targeted killing in Khuzdar district of Balochistan on Tuesday.

According to the police, the first incident took place in Khuzdar district’s Arbab Complex Area where unidentified persons opened fire at an active worker of BNP-M and Zamindar Action Committee Haji Ali Akbar Musiani.

The victim, fired at a close range, died on the spot. However the culprits, after committing the crime, fled unchallenged.

Soon after the first murder, another incident occurred at the Sultan Ibrahim Road area of Khuzdar where unknown armed men killed Balochistan National Party’s former Tehsil President Javid Baranzai.

The police lifted the bodies and shifted them to hospital.
