SUKKUR: Two brothers were gunned down by armed men over an old enmity between two groups within the Phulpoto clan in Dawood Phulpoto village at Khairpur on Sunday night.
Ashfaq Ahmed Phulpoto and Irshad Ahmed Phulpoto were sitting outside their house when a few unidentified armed men opened fire and fled from the scene.
The Babarloi police shifted the bodies to Civil hospital for autopsy and then handed them over to the family.
The killings took place because of an old enmity between the two Phulpoto clan groups. The police have yet to register a case.
