Balochistan unrest: Two NATO containers set ablaze

Two empty Nato containers were set ablaze by unidentified armed men outside Quetta.

QUETTA: At least two Nato containers were set ablaze in the Dasht area of Mastung district, some 35 kilometres away from Quetta city in the early hours of Sunday. According to the Balochistan Levies, the two empty Nato containers were on their way from Chaman to Karachi when unidentified armed men opened fire and then set them ablaze. The Nato containers were completely destroyed in the attack. The culprits, meanwhile, fled the scene following the incident. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. A case has been registered against the unknown persons and an investigation is opened.
